Meet Dr. Philofsky & Dr. Jad

Dr. David Philofsky, DDS, MS, Board Certified

Periodontist

Dr. Philofsky grew up in many places from the east coast to the west coast but has called Texas his home for the past 25 years!  Once he graduated from Air Academy High School in Colorado Springs he moved to Texas and earned his degree in Biology from Baylor University.  Baylor is a special place to him for many reasons, including where he met his future wife, Cindy, during welcome week his freshman year.  He has been married to this local McKinney High School and Baylor graduate for the past 20 years.  After graduating from Baylor University with a Biology Degree, he continued his education at Baylor College of Dentistry (now Texas A&M College of Dentistry) earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), M.S. in Oral Biology, and Certificate in Periodontics.  During his studies, he became interested in the process of regenerating bone and soft tissues within the mouth and around teeth & dental implants which lead him to specialize in Periodontics & Dental Implants.  Dr. Philofsky has a great passion to teach and educate others where he has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at Texas A&M College of Dentistry.  Along the way, Dr. Philofsky and his wife are blessed to have one daughter and two sons that definitely keep their lives balanced!  Dr. Philofsky loves all sports but loves to follow college sports -- especially the Baylor Bears.  Dr. Philofsky has always felt the desire to serve others through mission trips over the years and has been traveling to the African country of  Zambia where he serves with a medical/dental team treating those who do not have regular access to healthcare. 

Dr. Philofsky graduated with honors from Baylor College of Dentistry where he received his DDS, MS, and Certificate in Periodontics.  He hosts and attends hours of continuing education each year and is active in the North Texas Dental Society, Texas Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology . Dr. Philofsky is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology.  Dr. Philofsky and his family have lived in the Dallas area for the past twenty years.  They are proud to call McKinney their home where they love being an active part of this great community.

Dr. Jad Majzoub, DDS, MS, Board Certified

Periodontist

Dr. Jad began his dental career by earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2018, completing his education across both Lebanon and Europe. He went on to pursue advanced training at the prestigious University of Michigan, where he specialized in periodontics and earned a Master of Science degree.

With a strong foundation in clinical practice, Dr. Jad is also a dedicated researcher, having authored numerous publications in the fields of bone grafting, dental implants, and periodontal and gingival grafting.

Joining our practice in 2022, Patients have consistently praised Dr. Jad not only for his deep expertise in periodontal care but also for his compassionate, patient-centered approach. His commitment to excellence ensures that each patient receives the highest standard of care.
